while searching on the intertrough for the famed image of germaine greer's vagina --I have my reasons-- I came across a few interesting caches of art
1 - Susanna Heller, flying chicken bones, 1975
2 - Carrie Moyer, the stone age, 2006
3+4 - Carolee Schneemann, parts of a body house-genital playroom 1, 2, 1966

5 - Robin Mitchell, room, Womanhouse, 1972
6 - Mira Schor, book of pages, 1976
7 - Mira Schor, fan, 1976
(from here for what it's worth)
Marvellous pictures.
ReplyDeleteResearching feminist art then I see.
Is it for your book/novella/story (I can't remember if you hinted towards length) which I woefully failed to interperate from your picture. Hmm, was that massive red circle (in your picture) some sort of universal vagina?
I want to go to this exhibition. Me and Olia will be going at some point:

Oh yes. On the 13th of November, I am going to a talk at the Southbank Centre with Will Self and Ralph Steadman. Enjoyable evening all round.
